I Love What I Do
From an early age, I discovered my love for dogs and my innate ability to effectively communicate with them and read their body language.
Loving dogs means hating to see so many of them being rehomed, abandoned, or dumped onto the streets because of broken relationships with their owners.
After rescuing my dog (an abandoned puppy) from the streets back in the spring of 2017, I decided to take it upon myself to help as many dogs as I can by preventing abandonment in my own way: by training and fixing dog/owner relationships.
Over time, I have discovered that the gratification of working with dogs — and playing such an influential role in their success — is unparalleled.
Highly Experienced Dog Trainer & Behavior Specialist
My experience with dogs is highly diverse, as I have successfully trained hundreds of dogs, ranging from happy-go-lucky to reactive and very aggressive dogs.
My volunteer work at a dog shelter, helping traumatized dogs transform into the best version of themselves and getting adopted was the most rewarding feeling! I worked with several aggressive and traumatized dogs such as Snoopy, who was a euthanasia candidate, and Luna, who needed extreme tenderness and lots of patience to help get her out of her shell. The nickname "Sam the dog whisperer" rapidly gained traction around the shelter.
Working with clients is much more than just training dogs to do what you want them to do. I am in the business of educating humans. Knowledge is power and I'm always transferring knowledge to dog owners to help them successfully and healthily communicate with their dogs, and help fix their relationship.
Whether I am working with shelter dogs or pet dogs, one crucial skill I always need is problem solving, a skill that I have mastered with time. Read some of the testimonials and reviews people have given me here.
The journeys of some of the dogs I've worked with are documented in my portfolio. Check out the massive improvement made by these dogs and their owners here.
The Sam Neezer brand
My brand is an expression of my values, character, and commitments, and it inspires others to adopt those same values and be the best versions of themselves!
The dog in my logo looks a little fierce because that reminds me of how I started my journey, helping dogs with a hard life and rough past. It also represents my commitment to helping even the most challenging dogs.
The globe represents the diversity of my clients, my growing global reach, and my goal of making a positive impact on dogs all around the world.
I am passionate about helping people help their dogs learn and I believe that all dogs are capable of learning and improving, regardless of their behavior.
Since dogs make our lives better, I would like to reciprocate by helping them live their best lives, so I’m donating 15% of Sam Neezer merch and Resources profits to dog shelters. I also offer free training workshops from time to time to help people learn how to better care for their dogs.
